亲爱的国际学生：
根据国务院《突发公共卫生事件应急预案》规定，结合广西当前疫情防控形势，广西壮族自治区党委、政府决定自2020年1月24日23时起，启动重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应。
学院根据国家、广西壮族自治区政府及3522vip浦京集团官网疫情防控工作领导小组对新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情防控工作部署，现正式通知如下：
一、请关注官方发布权威信息。中国国家卫生健康委员会官方网站(http://www.nhc.gov.cn/)、广西壮族自治区卫生健康委员会官方网站(http://wsjkw.gxzf.gov.cn/) 定时发布全国及广西新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情情况。您也可以关注各班级的QQ群和微信群发布的消息，及时了解全国及柳州的疫情情况。
二、学校将按照国家教育部和自治区教育厅的统一部署重新确定2019-2020学年第2学期的开学时间，开学具体时间未定，请同学们耐心等待学校的正式通知。学校会提前通知学生，预留一定的时间给同学们买返程票。
三、原计划安排于开学前三天的补考安排调整到开学后第一、二周的周六、周日和第二周星期二下午，各门课程的具体补考安排另行通知。
四、仍在外地的国际学生，出行计划未得到批准的，不准返校，违规返校者一律强制隔离，并追究其法律责任。请仍在中国境内的同学加强自我防护，尽量减少外出，避免到人员密集的场所，减少聚会聚餐等集体活动。外出请正确佩戴口罩，首选医用外科口罩，外出回来必须洗手。保持良好的卫生习惯，注意手口卫生。
五、现仍在学校留宿的国际学生，请按照学校要求，积极配合老师完成每天自身身体状况报告。如你近期曾到访过疫情高发地区(湖北，特别是武汉)，或接触过疫情高发地区的来桂人员，请密切关注自身身体状况，并尽快向自己的班主任或联系老师报告，以便及时进行必要的隔离防护。如有老师或医务人员询问你的情况，请积极配合他们的工作。若需回国，请提前告诉老师回国计划。
六、学生宿舍因疫情实行封闭式管理。仍留宿在北9栋的同学，尽量宅在宿舍里，准备充足的食物和日用品，减少外出机会，不经允许，不得出入，并配合宿舍管理员做好出入请登记。中、晚餐由由学校食堂统一配送。
七、已离校回国或外出旅游、访友的所有学生，务必留在原地或家里，不能提前返校(具体的返校的时间学校会另行通知，请耐心等待)。如果不按学校的规定执意要提前回校的，已违反了校纪校规和国家相关的传染病防疫法规，除必须提前两天告知自己的班主任和老师回程的火车、航班信息，到校后听从学校相关部门的安排，到校后立即实行14天隔离外，还将受到学校的处分，甚至会受到国家法律的制裁。
八、按国家教育部及教育厅的要求，在未正式回校上课前，同学们应通过线上网课开展教学活动。从2月24日开始，在各学院学习专业和在国际学院学习语言的学生均开始网上授课，专业生的网课的教学方式及方案由学生所有的培养学院制定，语言生的网课的教学方式及方案由国际学院制定。请同学们联系自己的班主任和上课老师了解网课的情况。
九、学校公布开学日期后请将返校日期、火车、航班信息等及时报给班主任，以便学校及时了解国际学生返校动态。如签证已过期，请提前联系黄麓熹老师办理新的JW202表，凭此JW202表申请新的X1签证后再返校。

Notice on epidemic prevention and control of
novel coronavirus pneumonia
Dear international students,
According to the provisions of the State Council's Emergency Plan for Public Health Emergencies and in combination with the current epidemic prevention and situation in Guangxi, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and Government have decided to launch the first-level response to major public health emergencies from 23:00: 00 on January 24, 2020.
According to the deployment of Chinese government, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government and the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control of Guangxi University of Science and Technology on the prevention and control of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus, we hereby officially make notification upon relevant matters as follows:
1.Please pay attention to the authoritative information. The official websites of National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China (http://www.nhc.gov.cn/) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Health Committee (http://wsjkw.gxzf.gov.cn/) regularly publish the epidemic situation of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus in the country and Guangxi. You can also pay attention to the news released by QQ groups and WeChat groups in your class to keep abreast of the epidemic situation in China and Liuzhou.
2. The school will reschedule start of 2nd semester 2019-2020 under the unified arrangement of the Ministry of Education of China and the Department of Education of the Autonomous Region. The beginning date of this term has not yet been decided, so please wait patiently for further notice. We will let you know early enough so that you can buy a return ticket in advance.
3. The original plan of the make-up examination 3 days before the start of the school year will be adjusted to Saturday, Sunday of the first and second weeks and Tuesday afternoon of the second week after the start of the school year. The specific make-up examination arrangement for each course will be notified separately.
4. International students who are still in other places of China, and if their travel plans have not been approved, are not allowed to return to school, otherwise, should hold legally responsibilities. For students who are still in China, please strengthen self-protection, stay indoors, avoid crowded places, and reduce collective activities such as parties and dinners. Please wear masks correctly when going out. Medical surgical masks are preferred. You must wash your hands when you come and maintain good hygiene.
5. For international students who are still staying in the school, please actively cooperate with the teacher to complete the daily physical condition report as required by the school. If you have recently visited areas with high incidence of the epidemic (Hubei, especially Wuhan) or come into contact with personnel who are from areas with high incidence of the epidemic, please pay close attention to your physical condition and report to your head teacher or contact teacher as soon as possible so as to carry out necessary isolation protection in time and actively answer questions of teachers or medical personnel. If you want to return to your country, please inform your teacher of the plan in advance.
6. Student dormitories will be subject to closed-off management due to the epidemic. For those still in the North Building 9, please stay in the dorm and prepare sufficient food and daily necessities to avoid going out. Entry and exit must be permitted, so please cooperate with the dorm supervisor in the registration work. All lunches and dinners will be delivered by the school canteen.
7. For those who have left school to go home, to travel, or to visit friends, be sure to stay where you are or stay at home, do not return to school. The school will inform you of the specific time of returning to school, so please be patient. If you insist on returning to school earlier, you will be breaking the school rules and the state laws and regulations on epidemic prevention. In case that happens, you must inform your class advertiser and lecturers of your returning train and flight information two days in advance, and upon arrival, you will be subject to 14-day quarantine along with the punishment by the school and even by the law of our country.
8. As required by the Ministry of Education and the Department of Education, students ought to carry out learning activities through online classes before returning to school. Starting from 24 February, major students at different colleges and language students at the School of International Education will take online courses. The teaching methods and plans of online courses for major students will be designed by the colleges where they study, while those for language students will be designed by the School of International Education. Please contact your teacher adviser and lecturers to know the online courses you’re going to take.
9. After the school announces the back-to-school date, please report your returning date and your train and flight information to your teacher advertiser, so that the school can keep abreast of the return situation of international students. If your visa has expired, please contact Huang Luxi in advance to get the new JW202 form and apply for the new X1 visa to return to school.
